These displays are known to have been used in the Collins Microline VIR 251 and VIR 351 aviation radios, the Cessna/ARC RT385, and the MPH K55 speed radar.
Here's the Minitron datasheet, courtesy Sphere Research.
Similar displays are still made by Oshino and sold in the US by Wamco. The Wamco KW-515-F is an exact replacement for the 3015-F; the KW-505-F is similar, but has no decimal point.
The other Wamco displays were widely used in Southwest Pump brand gasoline pumps. They are still available from Allied Electronics of Bristol, PA for $18-25 each. The Southwest FFD-71 seems to be the same as the Wamco KW-515, and the Southwest FFD-81 is the Wamco KW-615.
MPH Industries also sells KW-515s as repair parts (MPH part 902638, $40 each).
Thank you to David Bobbett, Jay Geist, Bill Parrish, Ed Rosen, Joe Ross, and Walter Shawlee for providing a lot of useful information on these displays.
